Arborfield Field Spaniels

Welcome to Arborfield Field Spaniels

When I began my quest in '94 looking for "just one Field" little did I realize how strong an influence that one dog would have on the direction I was headed in dogs. After 20 plus years devoted to Flatcoats the change in direction was dramatic and positive. In early summer 2002 we said goodbye to our last Flatcoat, Whitney. While I'll always have a place in my heart for Flatcoats, Field Spaniels are my passion.

Please contact me to learn more about Field Spaniels in general or about my dogs in particular. At Arborfield health and temperament are very high on the priority list. I may be looking for 'perfect conformation' but health and temperament are just as important in family companions as in show dogs.

Please note that the Field Spaniel is not the same as a *field-bred* Springer Spaniel. Don't know the difference? Take a look at my "kids" and if you still have questions, e-mail me and I'll be happy to explain.
